My research deals with various aspects of climate dynamics,
investigating the role of the ocean in Earth's climate on time scales
of years to millennia. More specifically, I am investigating the
physical processes (forcing and feedback) affecting the stability and
the decadal-to-millennial scale variability of the ocean circulation
using a hierarchy of numerical ocean climate models (from box to
